Meropenem USP for severe and hospital-acquired infections — two vial strengths for intravenous use in the ward and the ICU.
Merovion® is meropenem USP powder for injection, in 500 mg and 1 g single-dose vials for intravenous use, for severe and hospital-acquired infection.
Active against Gram-positive, Gram-negative and anaerobic pathogens.
High stability to most β-lactamases, including ESBL-producing strains.
Penetrates well into tissues and body fluids.
Dosing interval of every 8 hours on the ward and in the ICU.
Indications as listed in Salventis product literature; prescribe according to the approved prescribing information and local antimicrobial stewardship policy.
Each vial contains meropenem USP equivalent to 500 mg or 1 g of meropenem.
Intravenous use only. Reconstitute before use as directed. Dosing interval every 8 hours; dose according to indication, renal function and local protocol.
